Vrede Solar PV Facility (‘Vrede Solar’) is a 100 MW solar PV facility in the Free State Province, a region in South Africa that is fast becoming recognised as a renewable hub.

This solar project is among the first in the country to implement Renewable Energy Supply Agreements (RESAs) – a flexible, short-term alternative to traditional power purchase agreements (PPAs) – well suited to private commercial and industrial clients seeking adaptable, cost-effective renewable energy solutions.
